Celebrate America 250 at Disney World

America 250 marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States in 1776, a nationwide commemoration that will celebrate the nation’s history, culture, and progress.

It’s a time for reflection, unity, and storytelling, three values that have always been at the heart of The Walt Disney Company.

Walt Disney himself was known for his deep love of America, often describing his films and parks as tributes to the nation’s optimism, ingenuity, and pioneering spirit.

From Main Street, U.S.A., inspired by his own Midwestern hometown, to patriotic attractions like The Hall of Presidents and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Disney’s connection to Americana runs deep.

This new celebration continues that legacy, bringing Walt’s vision of honoring America’s past and inspiring its future to life for a new generation.

It’s the perfect way to celebrate the spirit and wonder of the United States!

Disney Parks will be joining in on the fun with extra-special fireworks displays and events throughout the weekend.

At both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park, guests can experience the “4th of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks spectacular presented for three nights, July 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2026.

Guests can also look forward to Americana and military-inspired merchandise, along with special partnerships and tributes honoring members of the U.S. military and their families.
