Welcome! I’m Eva

I’ve been visiting Disney World for just about 30 years now and it is still my favorite place in the world.

As a kid, my dad took us to Disney World every single Summer and usually for Thanksgiving or Christmas too.

Once I grew up, I continued visiting Disney World in various capacities – as an annual passholder, a Disney Vacation Club member, and a 3x Disney College Program participant.

Today, several of my family members and many of my friends still work at Disney World, so I still visit frequently.

    Why I Blog

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ My mission is to make preparing for a Disney World vacation easier than ever by being a resource on tips and tricks for getting around the resort.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ This is actually my second blog and I started this one as a passion project because I just love all things Disney World.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I want every Disney World visitor to be able to understand how the transportation systems work, including if you’re just driving yourself and not using any of the public transportation options.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I want to share tips on how to get from one place to another as efficiently as possible so you can spend more time enjoying your vacation.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ My goal is to be the go-to resource on all things Disney World transportation!

I’m Visiting Every Disney Park Around The World!

One of my life goals is to visit every Disney Park around the world.

As of right now, there are resorts in California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

I’ve been to the first 3, which have a combined 8 theme parks.

Now I just need to visit the other 3 resorts, which have a combined 4 theme parks.

I’m Going On Every Disney Cruise Ship!

With so many new ships being added every few years, this feat is becoming a little more difficult, but definitely still attainable.

There are currently 6 cruise ships in operation today, with 2 more in the works – Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, Wish, Treasure (beginning sailing December 2024), Adventure (2025), and Destiny (2025).

So far, I have only been on the Disney Dream.

I’m Staying at Every Disney Hotel in the World!

There are over 25 Disney World Resort hotels, including the Disney Vacation Club resorts and I have stayed at all of them except for the Riviera Resort.

Disneyland Resort in California has 3 hotels and I have stayed at all of those as well.

Disney Vacation Club has a few off property resorts including Aulani in Hawai’i, Vero Beach Resort in Florida, and Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina, but I haven’t stayed at any of those yet!

I haven’t stayed at any of the international properties yet, but Disneyland Paris has 7 hotels, Tokyo Disney has 5 hotels (with a 6th opening Summer 2024), Shanghai Disney has 2 hotels, and Hong Kong Disneyland has 2 hotels.

How Did We Create These Lists?

I think every Disney fan has a similar bucket list.

Who wouldn’t want to visit every Disney theme park, every Disney hotel, and every Disney cruise ship?

    Where I’ve Been Featured

I mentioned earlier that this isn’t my first blog, so I’ve been featured in articles from Forbes, Time, Associated Press, Business Insider, Yahoo, AOL, CNN, Capital One, The Guardian, Northwestern Mutual, USA Today, TLC, GoodRx, and more.

But since this blog is specifically all about Disney, I thought I’d share where I’ve been featured in relation to talking about all things Disney!

Business Insider โ€“ I worked at Disney World and Disneyland. The wildest things always happened at Magic Kingdom โ€“ hereโ€™s what is was like.

Business Insider โ€“ I did the Disney College Program 4 times and had years of free access to the parks

First of all, thanks for checking out this blog and wanting to learn more about me!

This photo is of me at my very first job as a Disney cast member. I worked in Attractions at Mission: Space in Epcot as part of the Disney College Program in Fall 2014.

Since then I have been working in the Travel and Tourism industry for over 10 years in various capacities.

Since I was 12 years old, Iโ€™ve always said that I just want a job where I can go to Disney World whenever I wanted.

So when it came time for college, I pursued a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a minor in Leadership from Saint Leo University, about an hour outside of Disney World.

It was here that I did my first Disney College Program and I spent the first semester of my junior year at Disney World.

The following Summer, Disney opened their Alumni program that is just for the Summer.

Something they hadn’t done in years!

So I spent Summer 2015 in Dinoland USA at Animal Kingdom working at Primeval Whirl and Triceratop Spin.

Winter of 2015 I graduated and knew exactly what I was going to do next – go to Disneyland!

myself and a co-worker in Mater's Junkyard Jamboree costumes holding up our training completion certificates

I did the Disneyland College Program for 8 months in 2016 and worked in Attractions at California Adventure Park. Originally, I started out working at the Frozen Sing Along, but that was changed into a theater where they show previews of upcoming movies.

So while it was being refurbished, they sent me over to Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land.

During that time, I also got to work special events and parades.

I worked World of Color, the very last Mad T Party, Pixar Play Parade, festivals, and California Adventure’s 15th anniversary celebration.

Then I went back and got a Masterโ€™s Degree from University of Central Florida in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Graduate Certificate in Destination Marketing and Management.

While I was working on Master’s Degree I did the Disney College Program again at Disney World for the Fall 2016 program.

This time I worked Attractions in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.

I worked at Winnie the Pooh and Mad Tea Party (the teacups).

After this, I decided to finish my Master’s online and I returned to California where I worked part time and then full time back at Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

I continued to work special events and parades during this time and I become a Trainer and a Lead at Mater’s. I also worked on the Red Car Trolley that goes through Hollywood.

myself in the Rise of the Resistance Star Wars costume with Galaxy's Edge in the background

Then in the Fall of 2018 I had the opportunity to join the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Test & Adjust Project Team.

On this team, we were still Attractions cast members, but for a ride that wasn’t even built yet. So we were helping the Imagineers test out the rides until they were perfect.

I left Disney in 2019 just as the land was about to open and went into business for myself as a travel blogger and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since!
